Bike Awareness Day.

Thanks to the sterling efforts of Rose, we have permission to hold a Bike Awareness day at the Bargate Southampton . Date and Time TBC, plus we have to obtain permission from the shops nearby.

Hot Otter Rally.

Southern Region MAG rally event. 9-11 July. Rally poster

Dodgy Roads.

We currently have a large number of Road Hazard Warning cards. How it works is as follows... You find a dodgy bit of road. e.g. a Pot-hole, a bad rut, huge swathes of rubber overbanding. You mail me (andy@miesta.demon.co.uk) of its location and type. We will then fill out a Hazard warning card on your behalf send it off to the relevant authorities. Now, once notified of a hazard, if it causes you to come off - or indeed anyone you know, the council should then become liable....

Dodgy Hoses.

Binzy has mananged to purchase some servo-hose to repair his car...and found a potentially lethal problem. The hose came curled underneath a vacumn packed blister - however the packing had damaged the hose so that the vacumn generated by braking would constrict the hose so that no braking force would be generated. So please be careful when purchasing hoses.

On-Street Parking in Eastleigh.

Thanks to the sterling efforts of Binzy and Mark we has been promised on-street parking in Eastleigh. By all accounts we will be getting some secure parking as well. We still don't have any further information on when it will arrive.

Rock Nite!

We have found a DJ! Cost will be up to £75 if he has to supply his own PA, and up to £40 if the venue already has decks and sound system. We are looking for a venue! If anyone can recommend a location please mail me or come along to a meeting and tell us all!

Calling all budding Artists!

We are looking for someone with some kind of artistic talent to design Southampton MAG T-shirts and flyers. We cant promise huge rewards, but we might bung you a free T-shirt (and I'll be dead impressed - I failed finger-painting at primary school).
We have (thanks to Keith) already received one entry.
