Ride-out to Poole Quay.

We will be leaving from Westbound Rownams Services at 7.30pm this Tuesday.
The Racal Cherubs are also having a rideout at the same time next week.

New Discount for MAG members!

Andy Porter, one of our dealer liaison officers, has managed to wangle us a discount with Leisure Trail Solent Ltd  at the Swan Garden Centre, Mansbridge Rd, West End. If you are a full member you can gain between 5-10%  discount.

New T-shirts.

We have some in yellow or black. Sizes from small to extra large. Mail me if you want them, they are a mere £7.

Ocean Village Bike Show.

Its not long to the Hot Otter now! Tickets are a mere £6 (if you collect them from the meeting, or speak to me.). If anyone wants to marshal it, please give me a shout. We are still looking for traders - if you know of anyone who might fit the bill, get them to contact me or either of the two reps.

Eastleigh Carnival.

Will be on the 21st August. and we need some willing volunteers. Please contact Angie on (01703) 342226 if you want to help out. It's a Grease theme (think John Travolta, not high-melting point lithium), and we are looking for some old leather jackets and similar props. Does anyone look like Olivia Newton-John and care to volunteer?

Improve your riding.

Eastleigh Police are operating a Better Biking course later on in the Year. This scheme is run purely by volunteers and costs you not a penny. Several people from MAG have already been on this scheme and found it hugely rewarding. If you want to take part (it will take three consecutive Sundays, involving a mixture of theoretical and practical advice and tuition given by class 1 police riders) please give me an email and I will forward the relative details. Don't be shy!

SHAG in the Forest?

Surrey, Hants, Aldershot and Guildford (AKA SHAG to their friends) will be having a camp-out in the New Forest over the Beaulieu Bike Show weekend. Anyone interested in joining them, please mail me and I will get in touch with them for you.

We are trying to get into contact with as many clubs in the local area as possible.  If you are a member of a club, or know someone who is the president \ chairman \ secretary of a club, please let me know and I will pass the details on to our clubs officer. MAG is currently updating and expanding its clubs scheme and the benefits that affiliation can bring.
