This is the Fourteenth edition of Southampton Virtual MAG - A way of keeping in touch with members and friends.

Well, my PC has finally arrived, and I hope that the mailing list has been re-constructed correctly! Mail me if I sent you this by mistake! Or if you donÈt get and should .ermÚ shout very loudly!

Our regular meeting is at:
Home Tavern, Eastleigh (opposite Eastleigh Train Station). Every Wednesday, 8:30 for 9pm.
You are all welcome. You even come in your car if it is cold and or wet. We won't mind,

Council Elections.

The local council elections are on this Thursday. Although not technically a MAG issue, we would encourage everyone to vote. Get Thee To A Polling Booth!

Biker Bash.

Salisbury MAG are holding a biker bash in memory of one of their reps. Its on the 8th of May at the Southwestern Hotel, Station Road, Tisbury. If you want further details, please mail me and I will contact Salisbury MAG for you.

Club Contacts.

We are trying to get into contact with as many clubs in the local area as possible. If you are a member of a club, or know someone who is the president \ chairman \ secretary of a club, please let me know and I will pass the details on to our clubs officer. MAG is currently updating and expanding its clubs scheme and the benefits that affiliation can bring.

Daisy Chain Run.

One of our members is asking for sponsorship for the run. See the events section for details.

Events

If anyone knows of a suitable event (i.e. from a MAG group, a MAG affiliated club or a charitable event) please mail me and I will add it to the list.

Lion Rally Marshals Wanted.

Reading MAG's Lion Rally require Marshals. You get to go to the event for free, and the Marshals only party is worth it! The downside is... you have to work hard. Mail me and I will pass you details on to Reading MAG.

Daisy Chain Run 8, 9th May 1999

"The Full Daisy" Run from Totton Civic Centre at 11:30. They are aiming for 1000 bikes this year. Proceed to cancer charities. One of our regulars, Heather, is being sponsored, and all the money that she will raise, will be matched by Barclays Bank. So come along this Wednesday and add your name to the sponsorship form.

Activists Training weekend. 7-9th May.

Location Some where in North Yorkshire. Its not a fanatics brain washing weekend but instead deals with communications and 'working the system' to help get your message across. Think of it as a 'How to Lobby' course and you'll be on the right tracks. If you want to go, then please mail me and I will pass your details on.

Motorcycle World, Beaulieu 26, 27 June

MAG Stand at Motorcycle World Beaulieu, National Motor Museum.
We always require assistants for the MAG stand at Motorcycle World. If you would like to assist (its a case of plugging MAG to an unknowing majority) please give me a mail and I will pass your details on.

Hot Otter Rally.

Southern Region MAG rally event. 9-11 July. Rally poster

..are *still* going fast. Very fast. Another print-run is planned soon. £7.50 for the black ones and we have some blue ones for £7.
